DUE DATE: Friday, March 19, 2010 by 8:00 AM

To enhance your understanding of abnormal behavior, I have arranged an internship for each you with world famous therapist Dr. Izzy, Clinical Psychologist. Your task it to read, evaluate, and diagnose each of the following patients based on their case studies.

For each case you must:

• identify the specific disorder from which the patient is suffering

• give the "family" of the disorder (anxiety disorder, mood disorder, etc.)

• explain the reasoning behind your diagnosis and cite specific information from the case study, the textbook, and other sources which has led to your diagnosis

• list any additional questions, comments, and/or concerns you have about the case

Some of these cases represent disorders we have discussed in class and others will push you to broaden your knowledge of psychology.

Dr. Izzy will reward the most promising young psychologist (whoever has the most accurate, well explained diagnoses).

Complete your diagnoses in a word processing document (Pages or Word – NO TEXT EDIT) and email it to me (israelgreg@gmail.com) with the subject: Internship with Dr. Izzy.
