Term: Bio-psycho-social Perspective
Definition (Myers): a contemporary perspective which assumes that biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors combine and interact to produce psychological disorders. 1
Definition (alternative): The interaction of biological, psychological, and social aspects of developmental psychology to form essence of holistic. It also attributes complex phenomena or events to multiple causes. 2
Contextual explanation: A method that uses that biological, psychological, and social-cultural perspectives to explain the result of a psychological disorder. When these perspectives are combined, they produce multiple causes that can affect our mind and later on lead to complex events.
